A Toolkit for Tough Times

I found this past month tough as I navigate my recent bereavement, and in response I have found myself reflecting and adapting…

One thing I have found myself adapting is my Toolkit

I often discuss a Wellbeing Toolkit in my workshops - as a portable, bespoke kit of wellbeing tools you can dip into whenever needed, to help you navigate life.

(hence the map above …)

I sometimes imagine it like Hermione Granger’s handbag (for the Harry Potter fans among you)

  • small enough to stuff down her sock, but magically enlarged on the inside, so it can fit as many tools as you need!

  • You can add and remove tools as your needs change.

Some of my favourite Tools are:

Permission – to even open the toolkit. This is the Key – as without it you cannot access anything else!

Compassion

Connection

And tons more… I discuss different tools in different workshops:

Tools for Burnout

Tools for Workplace Wellbeing

Tools for Virtual Work

Tools for Leadership
