I have taught throughout my life, as a special-needs teaching assistant, through examining medical students and teaching GP trainees, to the Wellbeing Training I deliver today.

I can help you and your team develop with Wellbeing & Leadership Training - both online and face to face.

It is a real privilege to be able to help you as you reflect on and navigate the next steps in your career.

Retreats

It is important to carve out time to step away and pause, to make headspace for the bigger decisions in life and work. So I run 1 day Recharge Retreats so you can do just that.

Good Work is Good For You

Good work makes you feel good and helps those around you.

There is dignity in work, as well as the pay, recognition, sense of purpose and enjoyment it can provide.

Most of us care deeply about our work and it is important that it feels right for us.


Burnout Survivor

Despite having my fair share of knowledge and skills, I have had my own struggles in the past with Anxiety and Burnout.

I share my experiences so you can avoid some of the mistakes I made!

Stigma

I found stigma was a real barrier to my recovery so I’m here to change all that - one conversation, training or coaching session at a time.

The Power of Stories

Stories connect us and help us make sense of the world. I run creative writing workshops and write a twice a month newsletter - Thrive Well News.



The inspiration for The Working Well Doctor came from, as you may imagine, a desire for us all to work well, and support our wellbeing…

…as well as the metaphor of a well of water, which we draw on to refresh ourselves and bring a sense of calm...

About Katya

Katya is a former GP and Occupational Health Doctor whose full focus is now Wellbeing & Leadership Training, Career Coaching and Running Retreats.

She trained in Paediatrics and General Practice in the UK and at Mayo Clinic, USA. She has worked as GP for the Armed Forces and as an Occupational Health Doctor before finding her passion in helping healthcare professionals Thrive at work.

As a Burnout Survivor and career coach she has the expertise to help you and your teams develop strategies to thrive at work, despite the challenges of professional life.

She loves many things including… the great outdoors, hanging out with her family, running, street dance, kick boxing, tai chi, yoga and knitting!
