Training

Katya has taught throughout her life - special-needs pupils, examining medical students, teaching GP trainees, to the Leadership & Resilience Training she delivers today.

She can help you and your team develop with Resilience Leadership Training - both online and face to face. (Do you find the word ‘Resilience’ quite loaded? It can feel like we have an hour of ‘Resilience Training’ and then are chucked back into the Lion’s Den . This is not what we are about!)

Career Coaching

Katya can help you reflect on and navigate the next steps in your career.

Retreats

It is important to carve out time to step away and pause, to make headspace for the bigger decisions in life and work. We run 1 day Recharge Retreats so you can do just that.

Good work makes you feel good and helps those around you.

There is dignity in work, as well as the pay, recognition, sense of purpose and enjoyment it can provide.

Most of us care deeply about our work and it is important that it feels right for us.


We Learn from Burnout

Despite having her fair share of knowledge and skills, Katya have had my own struggles in the past with Anxiety and Burnout.

She share’s her experiences, so we can all learn and know, if we are struggling, we are not alone.


Permission is Key

We Challenge Stigma

Stigma among professionals remains a real barrier for so many who may be struggling or feeling overwhelmed.

We have made it our mission to shift this - one conversation, training or coaching session at a time.

Compassion is Central

Through all this compassion is key, for ourselves, at work and those around us.

Stories can Heal

Stories connect us and help us make sense of the world.

We need to understand who is driving the stories we hear, and tell ourselves.

Only then can we make considered choices about what voices we believe, which then shapes our actions. Stories also help us connect with our creativity.

Values Driven

At the Working Well Doctor we take the time to reflect and work in a manner aligned to our values, be it with our community connections, geopolitical considerations, and approaches to menopause and environmental sustainability.



The inspiration for The Working Well Doctor came from Katya’s passion for us all to find our way to work well.

The name evokes the metaphor of a water well; a reserve we can draw from to refresh and sustain ourselves…

About Katya

Katya is a former GP and Occupational Health Doctor whose full focus is now Leadership & Resilience Training, Career Coaching & Retreats.

She trained in Paediatrics and General Practice in the UK and at Mayo Clinic, USA. She has worked as GP for the Armed Forces and as an Occupational Health Doctor before following her passion to empower Doctors, Nurses and other Professionals in Healthcare - and beyond - to thrive at work.

As a Burnout Survivor and Career Coach she has the expertise to help you and your teams develop strategies to succeed at work, despite the challenges of professional life.

When she’s not working you can find her walking, reading and hanging out with family & friends - or doing some street dance, tai chi or yoga.

Despite loving a good cuppa, she rarely manages to drink a whole cup while it’s still hot!
