You Can Do It…One Step at a Time
Hello there
How is January treating you?
I have become that cliche. I just joined a gym, falling neatly into the 'New Year, New You!' stereotype.
The litmus test will be if I am still going by Easter - I'll let you know...!
“We always overestimate the change that will occur in the next two years and underestimate the change that will occur in the next ten. Don’t let yourself be lulled into inaction.”
How are you feeling? Really feeling?
There's a lot going on.
Winter pressures at work.
Caring for elders for some of us, often sandwiched between caring for children.
Some of us have just navigated the return to school, which may, or may not have had its own turbulence.
And when we lift our heads above the parapet - there is so much in the news.
It's easy to feel overwhelmed, to not know where to start to juggle all the plates.
As regular readers will know, Thrive Well News is the place to unpack and consider this.
For now, it feels like the best place to start is asking - how can we sustain ourselves?
Not just this week or month, but beyond?
And the answer seems to be - one step at a time.
Just one step. And then another.
As Bill Gates suggests - it's easy to underestimate the cumulative impact of small steps.
So...what small step can you take in the next week?
