Spring Is Here
Good News - Last Monday was the first day of spring in the UK.
So... the days have started getting longer - hurrah!
"May I be the tiniest nail in the house of the universe, tiny but useful."

So
Last Monday was the first day of Spring. And International Day of Happiness. And Mother's Day was Sunday in the UK.
How do you feel about all this?
There are some real positives.
Spring is a wonderful time of year, with its themes of hope and new life.
And happiness is great - right?
And it's wonderful to celebrate mothers, whether we are mums, or are celebrating our own mums.
But. As with so many things, there are people not feeling quite so chipper right now. Those of us who have lost mothers, or not been able to become mothers yet.
And some of us are just not feeling super cheerful at present.
Life is full of these complexites and painful experiences. Fears and joys. Good times and tough times.
My sense is it's important to hold and acknowledge them all.
Most human lives will have a bit of both sprinkled along the way.
But how? How to we find a way to remain well, and navigate our own course in the face of all this?
There are many ways. Some good ones are;
Taking a pause
Creative Writing
Exercise
Connecting with nature
Sharing in a safe space with other like minded folk
Mindfulness
Coaching
Doing whatever brings you joy
For others it may be sprituality or other forms of creativity. And a myriad of other stuff.
And also...It's OK to not be OK, just get help if so.
And for most of us, me included, it's a work in progress.
We are all different and different things make us tick. What works for you?
If the ways above resonate for you then I'd love to invite you to our next Spring Recharge Retreat.
A space to share, connect and reflect.
To take some time in nature and some time to think about your future.
